This year marks a century since the opening of our airport, and we are thrilled to celebrate this milestone with an exciting airshow featuring some of the most talented pilots and their incredible aircraft in the industry.
The airshow will take place over the course of two days, and will showcase a range of aerial displays, including precision flying, aerobatics, and military demonstrations. In addition to the thrilling performances in the sky, visitors can also explore static displays featuring vintage and modern aircraft, as well as interactive exhibits highlighting the history of aircraft flown here at Shepherd Field, the Eastern West Virginia Regional Airport.
As we reflect on the past 100 years, we honor the visionaries who helped establish our airport and the pioneers who paved the way for aviation as we know it today. We also recognize the hard work and dedication of the many individuals who have helped to make our airport a vital hub for commerce, travel, and recreation.
