Bücker Jungmeister

The Bücker Bü 133 Jungmeister

Jerry Wells began flying in 1995, and was instantly hooked on aerobatics.  He began flying airshows in 2003 in a Pitts biplane that he built, but his current airplane is a Bücker Jungmeister.

Jerry will be bringing a style of aerobatics that harkens back to the time period between the World Wars with his Bücker Bü 133 Jungmeister. This 1930’s German advanced trainer is a single seat airplane derived from the 2-seat Jungmann trainer.

Dominating early competition aerobatics and regarded as one of the best aerobatic airplanes ever built, Jerry’s 1930’s German Biplane has been modified with a 300hp engine, doubling the horsepower of the original design, to achieve precision aerobatics and speed. His airplane is painted in the markings of the Swiss Air Force.
